“I borrowed this image from a photograph I took in the 1990s at the Shalimar Bagh gardens in Srinagar, Kashmir. It is dangerous to visit Kashmir now, so few western tourists will have seen it. I have tried to capture what it felt like looking out at the blistering, shimmering heat from the cool of the cavern below.”

  • St Ives

    300mm x 150mm £80.00

Limited edition of 15 prints signed by the artist

“St Ives has so much going for it. A Tate Gallery, Barbara Hepworth’s house and garden, 12 beaches and a harbour. It holds some very special memories for my family. In this print I have tried to capture the bright and breezy feel of the British lino-cut printers in the 1920s and 30s.”

  • Royal Naval College, Greenwich

    300mm x 200mm £80.00

Limited edition of 15 prints signed by the artist

“Greenwich has a very special place in my family history. I used to belong to the Curlew Rowing Club, which was located in the basement of the Trafalgar Tavern, right next to the Royal Naval College. This is the view we had regularly from sitting in our rowing fours and eights. Coincidentally, my son Will did his music composition degree at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance which is located in the old Naval College buildings.“

    260mm x 180mm £80.00

Limited edition of 10 prints signed by the artist

  • San Francisco

    450mm x 300mm £100.00

“San Francisco is my favourite city in the US. In this scene I have tried to capture some of the suburban apartments which line the undulating side streets. The city can often be cold and misty, but I much prefer a sunny outlook.”

Colours and patterns

  • Swirl

    250mm x 250mm £60.00

Limited edition of 25 prints signed by the artist

“I wanted to create an image which would be symbolic of the trauma and turmoil we have all faced during the Covid pandemic. It felt as if humanity had lost its way and was meandering about trying to find a purpose. Finally, slowly, it feels as if we are moving on with our lives.”

  • Self portrait with tie

    350mm x 220mm £60.00

Limited edition of 10 prints signed by the artist

“This self portrait was done quite a while ago - which is probably obvious both from the look of the self portrait and the fact that I am wearing a tie. Who wears a tie these days? That alone should increase its rarity value.”

  • Late night pianist

    350mm x 200mm £80.00

Limited edition of 10 prints signed by the artist

I left a London jazz club with this image in my head. At the time, it was still legal to smoke indoors and so any late night venue would be blanketed in a hazy fog. It was terrible for ones health, but very atmospheric. The pianist turned out to be yet another self portrait.”

    300mm x 250mm £100.00

Limited edition of 15 prints signed by the artist

Limited edition of 10 prints signed by the artist

“I had seen a Hockney exhibition just before I worked on this print. Need I say more?”

  • Self-portrait of a hand

    170mm x 150mm £60.00

Limited edition of 15 etchings, signed by the artist. Various colours available.

“I am sure there is a message behind this etching, though I have yet to discover what it is. Incidentally, I don’t think my hands are as gnarled as this in real life.”

  • Night transporter

    500mm x 330mm £100.00

Limited edition of 5 prints signed by the artist

“I got the idea for this print from a fairly standard magazine photograph. I wanted to capture the intensity of Kandinsky’s paintings of Murnau from the 1900s. I have exagerated the glare and patterns of the lights and the glow of the sky and river so that the image becomes semi-abstract.”
